History Mural
The new mural in Willesden Green was officially ‘unveiled’ on Saturday 5th of April 2025, accompanied by a vibrant Spring Market.
We were honoured to have in attendance some of the individuals featured on the mural along with their family and friends, and support from the Mayor of Brent Tariq Dar, Leader of Brent Council Muhammed Butt, London Assembly Member Krupesh Hirani and the Willesden Green Councillors - Cllr Long, Cllr Miller and Cllr Choudry.
The mural is a colourful celebration of the rich culture and history of the area. Located at the heart of Willesden Green, off Poplars Avenue, it tells the story of a multicultural town, with beautiful architecture and a rich creative and artistic heritage.
