Willesden Green Town Team (WGTT) is a coalition of volunteers. A group of positive, engaged Willesden Green residents, businesses and other stake holders, working together to help the high street and community thrive.
Who we are, what we do
We are volunteer-led. We work on projects and activities that improve the high street and benefit the community such as gardening, street art, community engagement and other activities which fall within our aims and objectives. We are actively looking for the following volunteers, but if you have other skills or ideas then please get in touch too.
Gardening enthusiasts: In 2025-26 we want to develop a positive and engaged team of volunteers to support the development of some truly wonderful and beautiful gardens at the Willesden Green underground station. We want to build on our successes in London In Bloom and do even better. Our gardens could be iconic, for all the thousands of travellers that pass through Willesden Green on the Jubilee Line (as well as the Metropolitan Line, albeit non-stop!!).
Financial accountant/book-keeper: We are looking for a community-minded finance and book-keeping whizz to help us manage our accounts and submissions to HMRC and Companies House. Next year (2026) we will need to move over to recording and submitting our accounts in a digital format and would love support with that. We are finance-literate but we need someone who loves this subject and wants to work as part of our team.
