History Mural
The new mural in Willesden Green was officially ‘unveiled’ on Saturday 5th of April 2025, accompanied by a vibrant Spring Market.
We were honoured to have in attendance some of the individuals featured on the mural along with their family and friends, and support from the Mayor of Brent Tariq Dar, Leader of Brent Council Muhammed Butt, London Assembly Member Krupesh Hirani and the Willesden Green Councillors - Cllr Long, Cllr Miller and Cllr Choudry.
The mural is a colourful celebration of the rich culture and history of the area. Located at the heart of Willesden Green, off Poplars Avenue, it tells the story of a multicultural town, with beautiful architecture and a rich creative and artistic heritage. Immerse yourself in the story of Willesden Green!

Gardening enthusiasts:
In 2025-26 we want to develop a positive and engaged team of volunteers to support the development of some truly wonderful and beautiful gardens at the Willesden Green underground station.
Come and find out more about our successes in the annual London In Bloom competition and help us create something spectacular in the future.
Let’s put Willesden Green underground station gardens on the map and give the thousands of travellers that pass through Willesden Green on the Jubilee Line (as well as the Metropolitan Line, albeit non-stop!!) a reason to stop and take a closer look.
Financial accountant/book-keeper:
We are looking for a community-minded finance and book-keeping whizz to help us manage our accounts and submissions to HMRC and Companies House.
Next year (2026) we will need to move over to recording and submitting our accounts in a digital format and would love support with that.
We are finance-literate but we need someone who loves this subject and wants to work as part of our team to support the growth and development of our work in the neighbourhood.
